Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-19 · Effective August 19, 2026

Draft for attorney review — not legal advice

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you and Slabbed LLC, a Georgia LLC doing business as Slabbed ("Slabbed," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services (together, the "Platform").

Please read Section 26 carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved by binding individual arbitration and contains a waiver of class actions and jury trials. It also explains how to opt out within 30 days.

By creating an account, accepting these Terms in our acceptance flow, or using any paid feature, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1.Agreement to these Terms

We may require you to accept an updated version of these Terms before you continue to use paid features. Each version carries a version identifier (this one is 2026-08-19), and your acceptance is recorded against that identifier. Section 27 explains how changes are made.

2.Who may use Slabbed

To use the Platform you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or older where the law of your state requires it. We may require your date of birth before you buy, open, ship, or cash out, and we may refuse or reverse activity if the information you give is inaccurate.
  • You are located in, and accessing the Platform from, the United States, and not from any state, territory, or locality we have restricted (see Section 17).
  • You are not on any U.S. government sanctions or restricted-party list, and you are not barred from receiving goods or payments under applicable law.
  • You are acting for yourself, in your personal capacity, and not on behalf of anyone else or for resale or commercial redistribution.
  • You are not using a VPN, proxy, or any other means to disguise or misrepresent your location.

We may verify your eligibility at any time, including by requesting proof of age, identity, or residence, and may suspend access while verification is pending.

3.Your account

  • One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, rent, share, or transfer your account, your vault, or your balances.
  • Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date, including your email and shipping address.
  • Security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@slabbed.us if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Email verification. We may require you to verify your email address before certain features are available.

4.What you are buying

Slabbed is an online retailer of collectible trading cards. When you buy and open a pack, you are purchasing merchandise.

  • Every pack yields a card. Each paid pack opening grants you title to a specific physical trading card drawn from the pack's disclosed pool. No outcome pays out currency, points, or anything other than a card.
  • We do not guarantee any particular card. Which card you receive is determined at random from the disclosed pool. We make no representation or warranty that you will receive any specific card, rarity, grade, condition, or value, and no purchase is guaranteed to return more than it cost.
  • Cards are pre-owned collectibles sourced from the secondary market. Descriptions, grades, and certification numbers are those assigned by the relevant third-party grading company, not by us.
  • Market values are estimates. Any value, price, or expected value we display is drawn from third-party market data, is provided for information only, changes constantly, and is not a promise of resale value or an appraisal.
Collectible trading cards are not investments. Their value can fall as well as rise, and you may receive a card worth less — including substantially less — than the price of the pack. Buy only what you can comfortably afford.

5.Odds and how outcomes are determined

  • Odds are published before purchase. The drop rates for each pack are shown on the pack's purchase screen. Buying a pack means you have had the opportunity to review them.
  • Outcomes are drawn by a random selection process operated by us against the published pool weights. Odds do not change based on your account, history, spending, or the time of day.
  • Odds are not audited by a third party. We do not represent that our odds, random number generation, or inventory have been certified or verified by any independent auditor.
  • Pools and pricing change. We may add, remove, reprice, or retire packs and change pool contents and odds at any time. Changes apply going forward and never to a pack you have already opened.
  • Displayed outcomes are final once recorded by our systems. If a display, animation, or notification shows a result that does not match our transaction records because of a bug, network fault, or manipulation, our records govern and we may correct the outcome and any related balance.

6.Store credit: spendable and cash-out balances

Your account holds store credit in two separate balances that behave differently. This distinction is important and is enforced by our systems, not merely by policy.

  • Spendable credit is credit you add by card payment, plus any promotional credit, plus any sale proceeds you elect to take as store credit under Section 11. It may be used to buy packs and to pay shipping fees. It is not redeemable for cash and cannot be withdrawn, whatever its source.
  • Cash-out credit is sale proceeds you elect to take as cash under Section 11. It may be paid out to you under Section 12. It cannot be used to buy further packs.

You choose which balance a sale pays into at the time you sell, and the choice is final for that sale. Credit cannot afterwards be moved between the two balances in either direction: spendable credit never becomes withdrawable, and cash-out credit never becomes spendable.

Store credit is a prepaid balance for use on the Platform. It is not a deposit account, is not held in trust or custody for you, is not insured by the FDIC or any other body, earns no interest, and is not legal tender. Amounts you add are non-refundable except as set out in Section 13 or as required by law.

7.Payments, pricing and taxes

  • Payment methods. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the amounts shown at checkout.
  • Currency. All prices and balances are in U.S. dollars.
  • Prices. Pack prices, shipping fees, minimum order values, and the free-shipping threshold are displayed in the Platform and may change at any time. The amounts shown to you before you confirm govern that transaction.
  • Errors. If a price, value, or odds figure is displayed in error, we may cancel or reverse the affected transaction and refund the amount charged.
  • Taxes. Prices exclude sales and use tax unless stated. Where we are required to collect tax on a shipment, it is calculated and shown at checkout. You are responsible for any other taxes arising from your use of the Platform, including on amounts you receive from us.

8.Your vault, title and custody

  • You own the card. When you open a pack, title to the specific card you received passes to you at that moment, identified by its grading company, grade, and certification number. It is your property.
  • We hold it for you. We store cards in your vault, in a secured and insured facility, at no charge, until you ask us to ship it or you sell it back to us. We hold it as bailee, not as owner.
  • Loss or damage in storage. If a card in your vault is lost, damaged, or destroyed while in our care, our liability is limited to the lesser of its then-current displayed market value or the applicable limit in Section 24, and we may satisfy that liability by supplying a comparable card or crediting your account.
  • No trading between users. Vault items cannot be transferred, gifted, traded, or sold to another user on the Platform.

9.Reserved cards and delayed fulfillment

If the specific card you pull is temporarily out of stock, you receive a reserved card: title to that specific card, to be fulfilled when we restock it. Reserved cards are shown as such in your vault.

  • You may claim a reserved card once it is back in stock, after which it behaves like any other vault item.
  • You may sell it back to us at any time at the same buyback rate that applies to held cards (Section 11). Reserved cards are not redeemable at full market value.
  • If we cannot restock within a reasonable period, or you no longer wish to wait, you may tell us and we will, at your election, continue to hold the reservation or buy it back at the applicable rate. We will notify you if we do not expect to be able to fulfill a reservation.

10.Shipping and delivery

  • United States only. We ship to U.S. addresses only. We do not ship to freight forwarders and may decline addresses we cannot verify.
  • Fees. A shipping fee may apply, and orders above the displayed threshold ship free. The fee is shown before you confirm and is charged to your spendable credit.
  • Timing. We aim to dispatch shipping requests promptly. Where we cannot ship an in-stock item within 30 days of your request, we will notify you and you may cancel that request for a full reversal of any shipping fee, with the card returned to your vault.
  • Address accuracy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the address you supply. We are not responsible for shipments misdelivered because of an incorrect or outdated address, and we may charge a further fee to reship.
  • Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you supplied. Report damage or non-delivery to support@slabbed.us within 14 days of the carrier's recorded delivery date, or within 30 days of dispatch if no delivery is recorded, so we can pursue a carrier claim.
  • Once shipped, a card leaves the vault permanently. Buyback is no longer available on it (Section 11).

11.Selling cards back to the store

You may offer any eligible card in your vault back to us, and we may buy it at the rate displayed at that time.

  • The displayed rate governs. Buyback is a percentage of the card's displayed market value, always less than 100% of it. The exact rate is set by us, may vary by account standing, and may change at any time. The rate and the resulting amount are shown before you confirm.
  • This is an offer to repurchase goods, not a redemption of the card for its face value and not a guaranteed price. We may decline to repurchase any card, and may suspend buyback entirely.
  • Sales are final. Once you confirm a sale back to us, ownership of the card returns to us and the transaction cannot be reversed.
  • You choose how you are paid. At the time of sale you elect either store credit, which is spendable on packs and shipping but never withdrawable, or cash-out credit, which may be withdrawn under Section 12 but cannot buy packs. The election is made per sale and is final for that sale; the two balances are kept separate and credit never moves between them.

12.Cashing out sale proceeds

Cash out lets you receive the proceeds of cards you have sold back to us. It is subject to every condition below.

  • Only cash-out credit is eligible. Credit you added by card payment, and promotional credit, are never payable in cash.
  • Identity verification is required before your first payout. We use Stripe Identity; we receive the verification result, not your identity documents. See our Privacy Policy.
  • Payouts go to PayPal or Venmo, to a destination registered in your own name. We do not pay out to third parties.
  • Minimum, maximum, and daily limits apply, as displayed in the Platform. They may change at any time.
  • We may review, delay, or decline a payout — including where a request is unusually large, comes from a recently created account, or where we are investigating under Section 19. We may require additional information before releasing funds.
  • Cash out may be unavailable. We may disable payouts generally or for particular users, at any time, including to comply with law or a payment provider's requirements. If a payout fails, the amount is returned to your cash-out credit.
  • Tax information. We may require a completed IRS Form W-9 or W-8 before releasing payouts, and may issue tax forms and report amounts paid to you where the law requires. You are responsible for any tax on amounts you receive.

13.Returns, cancellations and refunds

  • Opened packs are final. A pack opening is the delivery of the merchandise you bought. Once opened it cannot be cancelled, refunded, reversed, or exchanged, whatever the outcome.
  • Credit you have added is non-refundable once applied to your account, except for duplicate or erroneous charges, or where the law requires otherwise. Contact support@slabbed.us within 30 days if you believe you were charged in error.
  • Shipping requests may be cancelled while an order is still in "requested" status; the card returns to your vault and any shipping fee is credited back. Once dispatched, an order cannot be cancelled.
  • Shipped cards are pre-owned graded collectibles sold as described by their grading company, and are not returnable for a change of mind. If a card arrives damaged, or is not the card identified by the certification number in your vault, contact us within 14 days and we will arrange a replacement, repurchase, or refund.

14.Promotions, rewards and promotional credit

We may offer promotional credit, promo codes, daily or streak rewards, missions, leaderboards, and similar features. Unless we state otherwise in the offer's own rules:

  • Promotional credit is spendable credit only. It has no cash value, is never payable as cash, and is not refundable.
  • Promotions are free to enter, are not consideration for any purchase, and may be limited by eligibility, quantity, time, or one-per-account rules.
  • We may modify, suspend, or end any promotion, and may revoke promotional credit or rewards obtained through error, abuse, multiple accounts, or automation.
  • Promotional credit may expire, and may be forfeited if your account is closed or suspended.

15.Head-to-head pack openings

We may offer head-to-head pack openings in which two users each purchase packs, open them together, and the higher combined card value takes the cards. This feature is not enabled by default and may be unavailable to you.

  • Where offered, the entry price, the packs included, and the resolution rule are shown before you enter, and the in-product disclosure for the feature forms part of these Terms.
  • Entry fees are charged from spendable credit. An entry that is cancelled or expires before an opponent joins is refunded in full.
  • Results are final once recorded. Section 5 applies to how outcomes are determined and corrected.

16.Spending controls

Your account settings include optional controls: a daily limit on credit you add, a weekly limit on spending, and a cool-off period that pauses purchases for a time you choose. Once set, a cool-off cannot be shortened or cancelled before it expires.

These controls are a convenience, not a guarantee, and do not make us responsible for monitoring your spending. If your use of the Platform stops feeling like a hobby, stop and contact us at support@slabbed.us — we can close your account on request.

17.Geographic restrictions

The Platform is offered only where we choose to make it available. We may restrict or block access, purchases, shipping, or payouts by country, state, or region at any time, and we determine your location from network and payment signals.

We do not offer the Platform to residents of, or to anyone accessing it from, certain U.S. states. The current list of restricted states is published at www.slabbed.us/restricted-states and forms part of these Terms. We may add or remove a state from that list at any time; a change is effective as soon as the updated list is published, without a version change to these Terms.

Attempting to evade a geographic restriction — with a VPN, proxy, false address, or otherwise — is a material breach of these Terms and may result in termination and forfeiture under Section 20.

18.Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Create more than one account, or use another person's account.
  • Use bots, scripts, scrapers, or any automated means to access, open packs, or interact with the Platform.
  • Exploit a bug, error, or unintended behavior, or fail to report one you become aware of, or retain any benefit obtained through one.
  • Use a payment method that is not yours, or that you are not authorized to use.
  • Use the Platform for money laundering, structuring, or to convert funds between payment methods.
  • Buy for resale, or operate the Platform as a business, reseller, or on behalf of others.
  • Misrepresent your age, identity, or location, or evade a restriction, suspension, or termination.
  • Interfere with, probe, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works from the Platform, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Harass our staff or other users, or submit false or abusive support or dispute claims.

19.Chargebacks, fraud and investigations

  • Contact us first. If you have a problem with a charge, contact support@slabbed.us before disputing it with your bank. Filing a chargeback without contacting us is a breach of these Terms.
  • Effect of a dispute. When a chargeback or payment dispute is opened, we may suspend your account, freeze balances and vault items, and hold payouts until it is resolved.
  • Recovery. Where a chargeback reverses credit you already spent, we may deduct the corresponding amount from your balances, reclaim cards obtained with that credit, and recover our costs and any fees charged to us.
  • Investigations. We may investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms, and may withhold funds, cards, or account access for as long as reasonably necessary to do so, and report activity to payment providers or law enforcement.

20.Suspension, termination and inactive accounts

  • By you. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@slabbed.us. Before closing, ship or sell back your vault items and cash out any eligible proceeds.
  • By us. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, legal or payment-provider requirements, or risk to the Platform or other users.
  • What happens to your property. On termination for reasons other than your breach, we will let you ship or sell back the cards in your vault and pay out eligible cash-out credit, subject to verification. Spendable credit is not refundable.
  • Forfeiture on breach. Where we terminate for fraud, abuse, or material breach, we may forfeit spendable and promotional credit and apply cash-out credit against amounts you owe us, to the extent permitted by law. We will not forfeit cards you lawfully own.
  • Inactive accounts. If your account is inactive for an extended period and we cannot reach you, we may close it and will handle any remaining balance in accordance with applicable unclaimed-property law.

21.Intellectual property and third-party rights

The Slabbed name, logo, site design, software, text, graphics, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

We are an independent retailer. Slabbed is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored by, or licensed by any trading card publisher, manufacturer, league, or grading company. All card names, characters, images, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the pre-owned merchandise we sell.

22.Third-party services

We rely on third parties to operate the Platform, including Stripe for payments and identity verification, PayPal and Venmo for payouts, third-party grading companies for card authentication and grading, market-data providers for values, and shipping carriers. Their own terms and privacy policies govern their services. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, outages, or decisions, including a provider's decision to decline, delay, or reverse a payment or payout, or a grading company's assessment of a card.

23.Disclaimers

The platform and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that displayed values or market data are accurate or current, or that any card you receive will have any particular value or be resalable. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

24.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, however caused and on any theory of liability, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

25.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Slabbed LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third-party right. We may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.

26.Dispute resolution and arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court and to have disputes heard by a jury or as part of a class.

  • Informal resolution first. Before starting arbitration, you agree to contact us at support@slabbed.us with a written description of the dispute and the relief you seek, and to give us 60 days to resolve it. This is a condition of bringing a claim.
  • Binding individual arbitration. If we cannot resolve the dispute, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its consumer arbitration rules, rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.
  • Class action and jury waiver. Claims may be brought only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding. You and we waive any right to a jury trial.
  • 30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@slabbed.us with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out," including your name and account email, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms and will not affect your account.
  • Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights or to address unauthorized access to the Platform.
  • Severability. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim or remedy, that claim or remedy will be severed and heard in court, and the rest of this section will continue to apply.
  • Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Where a dispute proceeds in court rather than arbitration, you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia.

27.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the version identifier and the effective date at the top of this page, and we will ask you to accept the updated Terms before you can buy packs, ship cards, or cash out. Where required, we will also notify you by email or in-product notice.

Changes apply going forward only. Your continued use of the Platform after accepting an updated version constitutes your agreement to it. If you do not accept an update, you may stop using paid features and close your account under Section 20.

28.General terms

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any in-product rules we reference are the entire agreement between you and us about the Platform, and supersede any prior agreement or understanding.
  • Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages, carrier failures, supplier failures, natural events, or acts of government.
  • Electronic communications. You consent to receive notices, agreements, and disclosures from us electronically, by email or through the Platform, and agree that these satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.
  • Notices to us should be sent to support@slabbed.us and, where a written notice is required, to 908 College Place CT NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
  • Survival. Sections 6, 7, 13, and 19 through 28 survive termination of your account.

Attorney review required before launch. This document is a product-accuracy draft written against how the Platform actually works. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for review by qualified counsel — in particular on classification of randomized merchandise sales, money transmission and payout licensing, state-by-state eligibility, and the enforceability of Sections 23, 24, and 26.
